Krisztin and I are excited to announce that our next restoration is of the Jean Dodal Tarot from 1701. This is a contemporary of our recent restoration of the Jean Noblet Tarot. These are both a Tarot de Marseille Type I deck which means they are based on a similar pattern.
This deck will be a standard tarot size of 2.75″ x 4.75″. It will be of the same quality as our Nicolas Conver deck and Jean Noblet deck and will once again be printed with Shuffled Ink. Although the price of printing and shipping is increasing, we plan to keep the price for our tarot decks at $53.
For each deck that we restore, Krisztin creates a flower logo that will appear on the front of the box. The logo for Jean Dodal is based on the Three of Coins. You can see our new logo at the top of this post. We will run a Kickstarter campaign starting in January.
