Atanas Alexandrov Atanassov is a Bulgarian artist known for his poetic style and work in tempera, watercolor, and pencil. A graduate of the Sofia Academy of Fine Arts, he draws inspiration from traditional Bulgarian icons and has exhibited widely across Europe. Since 1993, he has collaborated with Lo Scarabeo, illustrating several notable tarot decks, including the Bosch Tarot, Mantegna Tarot, Tarot of the Tsars, Leonardo Tarot (Minor Arcana), Botticelli Tarot, and Klimt Tarot.
