Liz Huston

Liz Huston, a native of Los Angeles, may live in a place known for interesting characters, but it's in Huston's imagination where the truly unique characters exist. Entirely self-taught, Huston's work has evolved over the decades from film photography to digital photography, to photomontage, and even further into mixed media by combining acrylics, oil, and watercolors with her digital works.

Since 2012, Huston has owned and operated a gallery dedicated to her art and spirit, dubbed her 'studio shoppe' in Downtown Los Angeles, inside The Last Bookstore. Her mixed-media art is whimsical, surreal, and dreamy, and her esoteric path informs it in every way. Her complex imagery seems to bridge the worlds, creating not just art, but medicine for the human spirit.
