Yves Renaud created this Limited Edition facsimile tarot deck, with only 1500 copies issued. It is one of the rare, completely preserved ancient tarots that were originally created and printed in Marseille in the early 1800s. The French master card makers Arnoux and Amphoux crafted one of the rarest Marseille tarot decks still in existence today. Very well preserved, with its uncluttered graphics and vibrant colors, this original tarot deck possesses a modern aspect, prefiguring the Cubism style, which appeared a century later, at the beginning of the 20th century.

The Arnoux & Amphoux deck includes 78 cards plus two cards explaining the historical background, one in French and one in English.

Yves Reynaud is a maritime inspector. Born in Montpellier (Hérault) in 1956, he has lived in Marseille since 1982. A lifelong esotericism enthusiast, he learned astrology basics and studied numerology and graphology in depth. Symbolic and religious art and stained glass are among his primary interests. The Tarot, particularly the so-called "Marseille Tarot," interests him for its symbolic and aesthetic richness. Since 2004, he has focused on historical tarots, which he passionately collects.

Yves also conducts iconographic, genealogical, and historical research on the history of the Marseille Tarot and that of its Master Cardmakers, the city of Marseille, and elsewhere. Realizing with Wilfried Houdouin the importance of the initiatory and cultural legacy of the Tarot de Marseille, as well as the rarity of the preserved copies, he decided to create Tarot de Marseille Heritage, and to produce facsimiles of the most beautiful historical Tarots de Marseille.
