Influenced by 1970s decks like the Morgan Greer and Aquarian Tarot, the deck combines nostalgic and fresh imagery, drawing inspiration from Tibetan Thangka painting, tattoo flash sheets, and contemporary art.

Rachel Rosenkoetter

Rachel Rosenkoetter is a freelance artist, illustrator, and designer living in Kansas City, MO. Born and raised in Missouri, she received her BFA in Painting from Missouri State University and her MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Rachel’s work reflects a fascination with magic, mysticism, the natural world, and popular culture. She uses digital and traditional media from acrylic gouache to vector graphics to create playful, colorful images and installations that evoke a sense of joy and nostalgia. She is a founding member of Killjoy Collective and the creator of the Rainbow Heart Tarot.
