Lisa Porter

Lisa Porter is a self-taught artist and illustrator from Northampton, Australia. Drawing since childhood, she was inspired by hand-me-down picture books featuring cyclopes, monsters, and giants, as well as her older sibling's comics.

In the nineties, she worked as a freelance caricature artist and court-hearing illustrator for a newspaper. She has a deep interest in esoteric literature, ancient pagan mysticism, mythology, archetypal allegories, ufology, and xenology. She explores how the occult's timeless narratives connect to the psychology of the human mind, body, and soul.
