Azzurra D'Agostino

Azzurra D’Agostino lives in a small town in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, where she was born, and writes in both Italian and her local dialect. A recipient of the prestigious Premio Carducci and Premio Ciampi-Valigie Rosse, she has published five poetry collections and a volume of selected works and books for children and youth.

She also writes for the theater and leads poetry workshops for all ages. Since 2019, she has collaborated with visual artist Francesca Grilli on performances that have been presented at festivals throughout Europe.
