Sophie Dufresne is an artist who works under the name Sophiequi - "qui" meaning "who" in French. She chose this because her surname proved challenging for non-French speakers to spell and pronounce. She founded Sophiequi in 2014 to explore her inner world through whimsical illustrations, patterns, and products, including stationery, accessories, and home décor.

With a background spanning applied mathematics, architecture, and web technology, Sophie's eclectic work ranges from mythological concepts to playful imagery.
