Rowan Ortins

Rowan Ortins is an illustrator from Montreal. After graduating from Dawson College in Illustration & Design, Rowan spent several years working as an in-house pattern designer at Camelot Fabrics.

In 2021, they decided to go freelance and pursue their dream of illustrating children's books, though their love for pattern and detail continues to influence their art. Rowan's work in publishing includes picture books, novels, coloring books, a textbook, and an upcoming tarot deck.

When they're not illustrating, Rowan enjoys reading, playing D&D, walking through nature parks, creating colorful makeup looks, and taking way too many pictures of their cat Truffle.
