These ESP Decks are a restoration of the original ESP decks designed in 1937 at Duke University's Parapsychology Laboratory by Dr. J. B. Rhine and his associates. These were made to find people who had the unique gift of extra sensory perception.

Originally, the decks came in two editions: a blue-backed, plain deck with all the symbols the same color and a brown-backed, colored deck with symbols of different colors.

We’ve completely redrawn the images to improve the symmetry and clarity of the back design and symbols. Each deck contains 25 cards which include five sets of the circle, plus, wavy lines, square, and star.

These decks are sold as a set, which includes a plain deck and a colored deck. The first edition is limited to 200 decks.

Krisztina Kondor

Krisztina is the co-founder of Artisan Tarot. She has a Master’s Degree in Design from The University of Sopron. She specializes in linocut printmaking, which is similar to how tarot cards were produced. This background gives her unique insight into digitally restoring historic artwork. To date, she has created 16 tarot decks for Artisan Tarot.
