Scott Cunningham

Scott Cunningham (1956–1993) was a highly influential author in modern Wicca and natural magic. A San Diego native, he studied creative writing at San Diego State University before becoming a full-time writer. He trained under Raven Grimassi and was a third-degree initiate in the Serpent Stone Family coven before shifting to solitary practice.

Best known for Wicca: A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner, he also authored classics such as Magical Herbalism, Earth Power, and Enchantments with Crystals and Metals. His accessible approach helped popularize solitary Wicca for readers around the world.
