We are excited to share updates on our Bolivian Rosewood box for our Nicolas Conver deck. This week, we spoke with Erik Jacobsen. He said he is making steady progress on the boxes and shared a few photos of himself working on them.
The first photo shows the beautiful grain patterns that is found within the wood. The rest of the photos show the milling process. Erik takes the rough wood down to a 1/4 thickness.
He will then cut the wood to size and engrave the tops of the boxes. After that, he will add the magnets to the sides of the lids and begin putting the boxes together.
We are still on track to deliver the boxes in December. We will continue to keep you updated on Erik’s progress.
