We just received an amazing new deck from independent artist Lin Snow called the Sprites & Beasties Tarot.
Lin is a freelance illustrator based in Maine whose work is recognizable by her signature palette of hazy, warm hues. She stays busy illustrating children's picture books alongside freelance and personal projects.
Her Sprites & Beasties Tarot was successfully funded on Kickstarter earlier this year and features 78 hand-illustrated cards filled with beasts, fae, elves, and other fantastical folk. It's inspired by retro design, medieval art, folk art, and New England flora and fauna.
One of the most unique features is that the guidebook is a second deck of cards held together with a ring. These companion cards provide explanations and insights for each tarot card.
