Elisa Macellari

Elisa is an Italian-Thai illustrator born in Perugia and based in Milan. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia and began working as a freelance illustrator in 2012 after working at Galleria Suzy Shammah.

She has illustrated books including Papaya Salad, Kusama, ossessioni, amori e arte, and Streghe novelle e maghi apprendisti. Elisa has won Gold and Silver Medals from Autori di Immagini, and her work has been exhibited in Italy and abroad. She likes colorful things, wild animals, the jungle, mysterious creatures, strange objects, and papaya salad.

Francesca Matteoni

Francesca Matteoni teaches history (history of religion, anthropology of magic and witchcraft, mysticism and magic in the Renaissance) at several American Universities in Florence and holds workshops on Tarot cards, fables, and poetry. She lived in England, where she earned a doctorate and conducted research in modern history, elaborating the processes of witchcraft, the magic of bodies, and medical folklore. She is the author of several publications.
