When I'm working, I enjoy listening to music. One of the top bands in my playlist is Heilung. They are an experimental folk band whose music is based on runic inscriptions from the Germanic peoples of the Iron Age and Viking Age.
We recently started carrying the Norse Magic Cards, and I was surprised to discover that Heilung's founding member, Kai Uwe Faust, created this deck!
Kai was born in Germany and was fascinated by Norse mythology from a young age. He became one of the most sought-after Nordic-style tattoo artists at Copenhagen's Kunsten på Kroppen. In 2014, he founded the band Heilung, which holds large rituals rather than concerts, and has toured with increasing success since 2017.
Now, Kai channels that same ancient wisdom through the Norse Magic Cards. It's a great introduction to Norse mythology.
