The Rosa Obscura Tarot Deck

Today, we are excited to introduce the stunning Rosa Obscura Tarot Deck by Orla Bird. This new release is the perfect companion to her Avisomnia Tarot Deck.

Orla Bird is an illustrator, cat mom, and plant enthusiast from Croatia. Her surrealist illustrations draw inspiration from vivid dreams and visions, often hand-drawn or hand-painted and combined with collage.

The Rosa Obscura Tarot Deck merges the human body and plants, creating organisms filled with symbolic meaning. Every card features a different plant species, while its symbolism is based on the Victorian language of flowers. 

As every tarot deck is a collection of life experiences, from joy to sorrow, Rosa Obscura (obscure rose) suggests the merging of the delicate nature of the rose with darker traits that also make us human.

Orla has also made pouches featuring the cards from the deck. These fit small and regular-size tarot decks with their boxes and can also be used to store other treasures.
