Today, we want to introduce you to independent artist Wren McMurdo Brignac. She has created two fantastic decks: Dark Days Tarot and Mother Tarot.
Wren is a Seattle-based, self-instructed, solitary pagan witch who finds inspiration in the moon and its phases, especially dark and new moon days. She focuses on using the tarot to assist her mental health. She lives with her spouse, Schquay Brignac, their pup Bonni, and parakeets Julia Roberts and RuPaul.
The Dark Days Tarot is inspired by the dark days of the lunar cycle when we are energetically drawn toward reflection. Like the oceans, we are subtly synced with the moon. This square deck is evenly four-sided, allowing the four seasons, four elements, four directions, and four phases of the lunar cycle to be incorporated into interpretations.
While creating the Mother Tarot, Wren drew ideas and inspiration from Earth, birth, creativity, and climate change. This deck is lit with dynamic energy to spur you along your path. Take guidance from this deck as we embrace this dynamic time on our planet.
