The Witch’s Runes Divination Deck is based on a set of rune stones known as the Witch’s Runes. The earliest reference to the Witch’s Runes is a wonderful book called Lid off the Cauldron by Patricia Crowther, published in 1981.
This deck includes 32 cards — two sets of sixteen cards. Each set contains fifteen cards with stones and one card with a poem. A 100-page guidebook explains the meaning of each rune and provides numerous reading examples.
Originally, these runes were inscribed on stones and cast for readings. We created this deck to read the runes using cartomantic techniques. As such, this set of cards features depictions of the rune stones, along with their corresponding names and numbers. Moreover, these cards are convenient to carry and easy to see.
