Today, we are excited to introduce the stunning Avisomnia Tarot Deck by Orla Bird. This deck reimagines Rider-Waite-Smith symbolism, interpreting it through mystical imagery and botanical elements.
Orla Bird is an illustrator, cat mom, and plant enthusiast from Croatia. Her surrealist illustrations draw inspiration from vivid dreams and visions, often hand-drawn or hand-painted and combined with collage. Orla's work explores the symmetry and connections between seemingly unrelated images, with a deep fascination for nature. Through blending motifs from various narratives, she creates her own mystical stories.
The Avisomnia Tarot Deck is the culmination of her two-year journey into tarot, during which she studied the symbolism of the cards and reimagined each one in her unique style.
The deck comes with a guidebook that tells the story of the tarot and provides short explanations for each card.
