We’re excited to share The Outlaw Oracle, a new deck from independent artist Hillary Banks Self.
Hillary was sick of feeling like an outsider in the world of sparkly, pastel oracle cards and derivative tarot decks. They left her cold, and the traditional tarot guidebooks might as well have been written in ancient Greek. But then she had a revelation:
What if tarot and oracle cards could speak the language of outlaw country music – the American Gothic soundtrack of rebels, dreamers, and hell-raisers?
And just like that, The Outlaw Oracle was born. This deck is for those who walk their own path and trust their instincts.
Since I’m from Oklahoma, the country western vibe of this deck is very familiar. It brings back memories from my childhood, which makes it easy for me to connect with the images.
