For the past few years, I have been trying to find a way to easily carry our Jean Noblet trumps deck when I travel around the city. My solution was to carry a minimalistic wallet and our Jean Noblet trumps velvet pouch.
But I found it to be a pain to carry around two wallets. I would either leave one at home or run out of pocket space. So, I decided to combine both of my wallets into one.
Our new wallet features an angled front pocket that stores our Jean Noblet trumps deck. The angled pocket makes it easy to remove the cards. The back of the wallet also has an angled pocket which can fit one or two credit cards or a few business cards.
I’ve been carrying this as my only wallet for the last few months. I have the trumps deck in the front pocket and my metro pass and credit card in the back pocket. I can also carry it in my front pants pocket thanks to the slim design.
To create the wallet, we teamed up with Heritage in Tbilisi, Georgia. Heritage was founded by Maxim and Anya, who have been crafting leather for almost seven years.
They created six prototypes to get the wallet exactly to our specifications. Since this is a collaboration, our logo is stamped on the front, and Heritage’s logo is on the back.
